Lantern is a relatively ancient thing in China, and it has a traditional meaning. It represents auspiciousness and health. For families with children, making meaningful handmade work is also a very good way to celebrate the holidays.
We prepare some red A4 paper, black paper, yellow paper, colored pens, scissors, double-sided tape, etc.
1.First, put the red A4 paper at the bottom, and then paste around a black paper.
2.Use black markers to draw branches on the yellow rectangular paper and then use red markers to embellish the flowers.
3.Then fold the yellow paper strips layer by layer, as shown in Figure 2.
4.After folding, use scissors to cut off the edge of the rectangular paper as shown in Figure 3, which can be cut into an arc shape, or it can be referred to as a pointed shape.
5.According to Figure 4-6, make the pendant of the lantern, paste the double-sided tape on the top of the red paper, cut the bottom into silk, and then roll it up and paste it up.
6.Finally, paste the lantern on the black round paper, add "Happy New Year", embellish some white dots, and the whole handmade work is completed.
